How to buy a new build

You reserve the home, sign the purchase contract with a payment plan during construction and pay the rest at the notary when you receive the keys. Every amount you pay before the deeds must be guaranteed by a bank guarantee or an insurance policy, as Spanish law requires. You pay 10% VAT and 1.4% stamp duty (AJD) instead of transfer tax.
