Poniente is the longest and calmest beach in Benidorm: from the old town to La Cala, with a seafront promenade of almost 2 km designed by the architect Carlos Ferrater. Here you will find apartments for sale in Poniente, many with sea views and large terraces.
We are a local estate agency with an office in Albir (Alfaz del Pi), 15 minutes away, and we know the buildings in the area: orientation, the state of the community, pool and parking.
It is the most residential side of Benidorm by the sea: less nightlife than Levante, more families and long stays. The promenade, with its wave-like shapes, has won architecture awards and is ideal for walking or cycling.
It suits buyers looking for the beach and peace and quiet, larger homes and newer buildings, and those who live in Benidorm all year round.
There are one- to three-bedroom apartments in towers with pools, gardens and parking, many on the frontline, and newer buildings towards La Cala.
In September 2026 the average asking price for resale homes in Poniente was about 4,950 €/m² (idealista), the highest in Benidorm (city average: 3,824 €/m²). Frontline and high floors with views are above that; the streets behind are below it.
What is actually signed at the notary is usually lower than the asking price. That is why we value each home with real sales in the area, not just with listings. We update these figures every quarter.
Supermarkets, pharmacies and restaurants within walking distance, and the town centre a few minutes away.
Healthcare: the Foietes (with an emergency department) and Tomás Ortuño health centres, and the private IMED Levante hospital; the public reference hospital is Marina Baixa hospital in Villajoyosa.
Transport: town buses throughout the area and the TRAM Intermodal station, with line 1 to Alicante and line 9 towards Altea and Dénia. Alicante airport is about 50 minutes away by motorway.
Schools: In the west and centre of Benidorm there are state schools such as CEIP La Cala, CEIP Miguel Hernández and CEIP Puig Campana; the city's private international schools are a few minutes away by car (Benidorm Town Hall, April 2026).
We guide you through the whole process: search, viewings, offer, deposit contract (arras) and signing at the notary, with independent lawyers. If you buy from abroad, you will need an NIE and a Spanish bank account, and you can sign through a power of attorney without travelling.

How much does an apartment in Poniente cost? It depends on the distance to the beach, the floor, the views and the condition. As a reference, the average asking price was about 4,950 €/m² in September 2026; a frontline apartment with sea views costs considerably more than one in an inland street. Ask us for a valuation of the homes you like.
What is the difference between Poniente and Levante? Levante is livelier, with more nightlife and holiday rentals. Poniente is calmer and more residential, with larger homes and the highest average price in Benidorm.
Can I rent the property to tourists? It depends on each property. You need a planning compatibility report from the town hall and registration with the Valencian Tourism Register, and in a building or urbanisation the owners' community can limit or ban tourist use. We check this before you make an offer.
What are the buying costs? For resale homes, transfer tax (ITP) in the Valencian Community is 9% since 1 June 2026 (11% above 1,000,000 €), with reduced rates in some cases. New builds pay 10% VAT plus 1.4% stamp duty (AJD). Notary, land registry and administration fees are added on top.
How long does it take to sell a home? It depends mainly on the price. In Spain, 58% of homes sold in the first quarter of 2026 sold in less than 3 months (idealista). A home that is priced well from the start sells sooner and better.
