What it means for you

If you are selling: the market is still rising, but these are asking prices, not sale prices. The right price for your home depends on the area, the floor, the views and the condition; a valuation based on real sales in your street avoids overpricing and losing months.

If you are buying: comparing by area is key. With the same budget, you get more space in La Nucía or Alfaz del Pi than on the seafront in Benidorm or Altea.
