Alfaz del Pi's patron saint fiestas (l'Alfàs del Pi) are the Fiestas del Jubileo y del Santísimo Cristo del Buen Acierto, held every November. In 2026 they run from Saturday 7 to Tuesday 10 November, with events from Wednesday 4: the Nit d'Albaes, the opening speech, the Humour Parade, the flower offering, the Trisagios, processions and street parties run by more than 40 peñas.

What is celebrated: the Jubileo and the Cristo del Buen Acierto
The name comes from a privilege that Pope Pius IX granted to Alfaz del Pi in 1857: the chance to gain the Jubilee (a plenary indulgence) during these fiestas, through confession, taking part in the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and praying before the image of the Cristo del Buen Acierto, the town's patron.
The most local tradition is the Trisagios: sung prayers kept alive by local families for more than 150 years and passed down from parents to children. They are sung in the parish church of San José during the fiestas.
Who organises them
The town hall's fiestas department, with each year's Mayoralía and the association of peñas (festival clubs), which brings together more than 40 peñas and around a thousand members. In 2026 the Mayoralía is Penya L'Impacte. The fiestas also have their Queen and her court.
When they take place
Every year in November, usually the same week as Benidorm's patron saint fiestas. The two central days are the day of the Blessed Sacrament and the day of the Cristo del Buen Acierto, the main day. The town hall publishes the programme a few weeks before.

- Traffic: streets in the centre close during parades and processions. Park outside the centre and walk in.
- Holidays: Monday 9 and Tuesday 10 November 2026 are local holidays in Alfaz del Pi. Many shops, banks and offices close.
- Cost: street events and the concert in the municipal marquee are free.
What it means for you
Alfaz del Pi has a large international population, but its fiestas are still very much a village celebration. If you are thinking of buying here, fiesta week is a good time to get to know the centre and its people. If you want complete peace and quiet, bear in mind that the area around Plaza Mayor and the municipal marquee has music until late for a few days a year; the urbanisations and Albir are not affected.
